UPAFで上映する作品はどれも、私たちの大テーマの「生きる・創る・映画」を反映しています。それに加え、第10回のミニテーマは「パレスチナ」。1948年以降のパレスチナの歴史を辿りながら、パレスチナ人映像作家たちの才能と熱い想いを感じていただけるはずです。そのほか、アジア諸国からの感慨深くアート心を揺さぶる作品や、公募から選ばれた日本短編特集もあります。
The films selected for UPAF represent our big theme of "Life, Art, Film." The mini-theme of the 10th UPAF is "Palestine." You will learn the history of Palestine since 1948 as you appreciate the artistic talent of Palestinian filmmakers. You will also have access to thoughtful and artful films from various Asian countries as well as Japanese shorts, which were hand-picked from the call for entries.
